Add maternity, without adding risk.

Maternity carries real clinical and medico-legal risk, and it is hard to staff, govern and standardise. Network One Health brings a governed maternity programme that already runs, with the know-how and tools to keep that risk in hand.

The risk you already know

Maternity is where a group feels most exposed.

The clinical risk is real and the medico-legal risk is real. A governed programme that manages both, and that specialists will actually join, is hard to build and slow to prove. That is the gap we close. We have kept this risk in focus from the start, and built the governance, the protocols and the supervision to manage it.

What we bring

The parts that are hard to build.

A hospital group, or a private obstetrician, would struggle to create and implement these today. We already have them.

A governance spine

Clinical governance, risk stratification, audit, morbidity and mortality review and incident management, running from day one. The accountable clinical entity is named and the decision rights are published.

Clinical and operational manuals

The maternity pathway, protocols, standard operating procedures and role cards are written, versioned and in use. You are not starting from a blank page.

Structured commissioning

We commission a service in a defined sequence: site specification, staffing, credentialing, training sign-off and go-live gates. Not an open-ended build.

Induction, change management and supportive supervision

We bring teams onto the model with induction, competency sign-off, a refresher cadence and supportive supervision, so the standard holds after go-live.

A funder contract in place

The Discovery global-fee maternity programme is contracted, so the commercial pathway is proven, not hypothetical.

A skilled support office

Booking, billing, authorisations, scheme follow-up, data and reporting are run by a team that already does this every day.

Credibility that fills the programme

We have standing with the cash market, with specialists and across the core disciplines, so the programme staffs and the volume comes.

Why clinicians work with us

We can hold the specialists a group cannot.

Specialists are wary of hospital groups, and of anything that looks like employment. Who controls the money and the operating spine matters to them. Network One Health is clinician-owned and clinician-governed, and Dr Howard Manyonga is closely connected to the specialist community through SASOG and GMG. That is why clinicians join us, and why the programme staffs and holds. For a hospital partner, that is the hardest part solved.

For funders

A controlled pathway you can audit.

Defined risk scoring, structured visits, clear escalation, claims discipline and outcome reporting on a fixed cadence, against a shared data dictionary. We have run a maternity service since 2022 and report maternal and neonatal outcomes against defined measures.
