Notes for clinicians: what we will send, and how often
Short, occasional notes on how the network works, what has changed, and where the roles are. Never more than one a week, and you can stop them at any time.
If you are on our clinician list, you will now get these notes by email as well as on this page. A short word on what they are, so you can decide whether to keep them.
What they carry
- Changes that affect your patients: a new centre, a new referral route, a change to a number or a form.
- How the network works: how roles are structured, how clinical work is paid, what comes back to you after a referral.
- Programmes in design, while there is still room to shape the roles.
Nothing in these notes is a sales message. Where a note mentions money, it says plainly what is paid for and what is not.
How often
At most one a week, usually less. Routine notes go out on a weekly check of this page. Anything urgent, such as a number that has changed, comes separately and on its own.
Where to read them
Every note is published here first, and stays here. You can read them without being on the email list, and you can leave the list from any email without losing access.
Two links worth keeping

- To join the network or take a structured role: join.hpmanyonga.co.za

Refer a patient, or take a structured role.
Referrals come back to you with a summary at defined points. Roles are sessions with rostered cover and defined escalation, and you keep your practice.
